Irina Voronina, born May 19, 1964 in Leningrad. From 1981 to 1987 she studied
at the I.E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture of the Academy
of Fine Arts at the architectural faculty. In 1987 - received the honors degree
in the specialty architect-artist. On students’ graduate work show of the architectural
profession she has received Diploma of the 1st degree.
From 1987 to 1992 she worked in pictorial-design center of the Art Fund of the RSFSR,
where she was engaged in creation of public interiors using paintings and graphics
as the main decorative elements of the interior, and also designed the interiors
of N. Durov museum in Elabuga, S. Kovalevskaya Museum in Leningrad region.
Since 1992 she worked in several creative architectural workshops and publishing houses,
where she was engaged in interior design, the creation of textile panels, book
and magazine graphics. In 1993 she worked as an architect in the architectural offices
RKV in Frankfurt - on - Main (Germany).
Since 1998 projecting of private and public interiors.
Since 1989 she participated in various exhibitions, competitions and festivals with interior
and textile panels in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Vladimir, Ivanovo, Perm, Urengoy, Lyon,
Canada, Great Britain.
In 1997 the first personal Exhibition passed in the Memorial Museum of Dostoyevsky
in St. Petersburg.
In 2005 Grand Prix of the exhibition-contest «My love, Russia» in Vladimir.
In 2007 she joined the Artists’ Union of Russia.
In 2007 Grand Prix of the «Russian quilt show» in Canada.
In 2008 Personal exhibition during the International Quilt Festival in Birmingham
(United Kingdom).
Her works can be met in private collections in St. Petersburg, Gatchina, Germany,
Finland, Canada.
